You’re driving to work and a shiny object catches your attention – and bam! you’re mind is wandering off. You get to work and – bam – a squirrel runs across your desk – aka a coworkers invites you to grab a cup of coffee before “getting started”.
As a business professionals, our productivity reflects in our profits and paychecks. How often have you started working on a project, only to have your brain pull focus onto fifteen other things? Do you check your email each time the notification happens? Tasks end up unfinished, or done poorly, and you never seem to get ahead.
I invite you to allow your calendar to be your boss – especially if you’re working from home. If its on your calendar – make it happen.
